Like a base with a whole loada’ coverage? You’re going to want to check out Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H
foundation*. Super-long lasting and offering full coverage, this new launch has been eight years in the making.
Okay so what did I think?
So let me start by saying that I’m a huge fan of the Lancome foundations, I used the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion
for the entire summer last year. However, and this is just my preference, I’m not overly keen on full coverage foundations. My skin is quite dry and by part way through the day, I do find they break up and go a little patchy. Unfortunately, this was no exception and it did need reapplying on my t-zone by about 3pm.
As you may know, I’m not one to post negative reviews, so even though this isn’t for me, there are a few positive things to say about it. Firstly, it blends beautifully and as it says on the tin it lasts really, really well. On my less dry areas, it kept in place (shine-free I may add) all day long. The formula is available in whopping 40 shades, so finding your perfect colour match is easy peasy.
If you’ve got a drier skin type and love the 24H matte look, try applying this foundation with Lancome’s La Base Pro Hydra Glow
*. This did make it a little bit more wearable for me. The La Base Pro Hydra is enriched with a grand total of 14 skin-loving actives and works to hydrate the skin for up to 24 hours. So it really is the perfect companion to Lancome’s latest launch! As a primer, this super-moisturising cream is amazing. I’ve been wearing it every day and I’m clearly not the only one that loves it… there are five star, rave reviews all across the internet.
